My Capsule Closet - Podcast Week 11

Hi Everyone,

I hope you’re all well and have managed to enjoy the sunshine. I’ve absolutely loved this weather and have been determined to enjoy it and top up on my vitamin D as the autumn will be here before we know it! Speaking of which, I cant believe we’ve reached our podcast season finale! The last 3 months have flown by. We’re ending on an incredible high though as we welcome GP and Medical Broadcaster Dr Nighat Arif to our sofa.

With my wonderful guest Dr Nighat Arif

I can’t tell you how much I loved this conversation. I have been following Nighat for a number of years a and am such a fan of her no nonsense approach to lifting the lid on women’s health issues. To finally meet her in person and get all of her incredible insight was such a brilliant experience. I had numerous topics that I wanted to discuss with her based on things I’ve been seeing lately in the women’s health space. We talked PMDD, what is it and how is it managed? Endometriosis and the link to auto immune disorders and finally the social bias towards female pain. Nighat was absolutely amazing, not only busting myths around these conditions and topics but offering up advice, tools and questions to pose to our own health care providers. It’s such an educational listen and I really hope it gives women all they need to feel empowered when discussing their health issues with their doctors. I really hope you enjoy it!

Happy Listening!

Get The Look

For the final look of this season I went back to classic separates, consisting of this gorgeous olive pleated midi and floral blouse from Next. I finished off the look with my trusted tan mules. All three of these elements can be worn individually to dress them either up or down and so I think they’re a great investment for building a classic wardrobe. The pleated midi itself has been a style staple for the last decade and doesn’t show any signs of retiring soon!
