My Capsule Closet - Podcast Week 10

Hi Everyone,

I hope you’ve all had a really lovely week. This week on the podcast i’m joined by the fabulous Lavina Mehta to talk all about movement in mid life and what it feels like to change careers in your 40’s.

With my brilliant guest Lavina Mehta MBE

Our conversation was so interesting and I took so much away from the chat. I’d been following Lavina on Instagram for a while as I discovered her during lock down and was really interested in her approach to fitness. She talks a lot about exercise snacking which really resonated with me as being a busy working mum sometimes it can feel challenging to fit exercise into your week as well, however Lavina breaks it all down into easy 10 minute segments throughout the day which equal a whole workout! It’s a really clever way of incorporating exercise into your daily life without feeling overwhelmed. We also talk about her finding success through social media and the incredible community she’s built through her platform Feel Good with Lavina, resulting in her brilliant book The Feel Good Fix. It’s such a lovely conversation and I came away feel inspired and energised by Lavina, I hope you will too.

Happy Listening!

Get The Look

I absolutely loved this week’s outfit as it was so easy to wear and also as it’s a hybrid dress, really versatile. The dress is from River Island and really leans to the soft luxury aesthetic with its delicate beige colour and relaxed skirt detail. It gives a rustic elegant feel that I loved as whilst I felt relaxed wearing it, I still felt very put together. I paired it with my tan mules but as always this dress would look equally as good with ballet flats or trainers. You can dress it up or down so its perfect for any occasion.
