My Capsule Closet - Podcast Week 8

Hello Everyone!

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week! This week I was thrilled to be joined by my long time friend, actress and content creator Emily Tierney to talk all about self worth and her highly successful career pivot.

With this weeks guest the lovely Emily Tierney, West End Star and content creator

I absolutely loved catching up with Emily and hearing all about her challenges and successes as she’s navigated her way from West End leading lady to highly sought after content creator. We discussed at length the negativity she faced when initially using her instagram to document her interest in fashion, lifestyle and wellbeing but how with determination and a twist of fate in the guise of the pandemic it has lead her to leading a life which she feels more in control of and creatively fulfilled. Emily lifts the lid on the different tasks and skillset needed to become a successful creator and how she is now channeling her love of story telling in a different direction that could see her step into the role of director in the future. It was such a wonderful chat and it’s been so lovely to watch Emily flourish and grow in this new direction. Some of you may remember her brilliant fashion pieces for The Capsule back in the early days!

I really hope you enjoy it and you find it both insightful and inspiring.

This week I embraced the summer of butter yellow in this super cute little shirt dress from H & M, with it’s ballon, broderie anglaise sleeves and concealed buttons its a really easy dress to dress up or down depending on the occasion. I have paired with my Zara peep toes for this chat, but it would look equally fresh with ballet flats or trainers if you’re running from office to dinner. Get the complete look below.
