3 Days of Festive Dressing
Tis the season to be stylish and this month I’m bringing you outfit inspiration for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day that combine a little sparkle, a little comfort and a lot of festive feel-good vibes…
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve is my favourite day of the year; there’s just something so magical about the anticipation of the big day and all the joy that it brings. Our family usually spend the day doing something festive, whether that’s a trip to the pantomime or meeting up with friends, then the evening is for getting cosy and preparing for the big man to arrive.
This slip dress is perfect for a relaxed get together at home with friends (add or remove the jumper to up the glam factor) - style with heels and lots of sparkle to dress is up or opt for boots to give more of a low-key feel.
Once you’re home for stories by the fire and a Christmas film these matching family PJs are just the ticket.
Christmas Day
I LOVE getting dressed up for Christmas Day - we may not be leaving the house BUT putting on something special just makes everything feel that little bit more magical. This dress from Karen Millen epitomises Christmas dressing; the colour, the velvet texture and the sparkle embellishment are just perfection - if Christmas were a dress, this would be it! Pair with some low-heeled sling backs for comfort and style and no accessories are necessary as the details on the dress do all the work for you.
Boxing Day
If you’re continuing the festivities into Boxing Day then it’s likely you’ll want to go for something with a more relaxed silhouette.
