The Juggle Struggle, New Reads & Money Matters
Hello Everyone,
I hope you’ve all had a really great week. Whilst the UK has been swimming with rain, the sound of birdsong has slowly started to make its way through the gloom. Hurray! Hopefully our podcast has been a welcome friend over the dark nights.
Speaking of which, this week’s Women & Wellbeing episode was one I came away from feeling genuinely energised and challenged by. I was joined by entrepreneur and host of the Women’s Business podcast Nicky Denson Elliot, and our conversation felt eye-opening in the truest sense. Nicky was absolutely amazing — insightful, honest and deeply compassionate — and we spent much of the episode talking about something that still feels uncomfortable for so many women: money, and the shame that so often surrounds it.
We explored how financial shame shows up in women’s lives, how silence keeps us stuck, and why so many of us carry private worries about money while presenting a very different story to the outside world. This is something I feel incredibly passionate about in my own life. I strongly believe we need to talk more openly about money — particularly within our friendship groups.
This week’s brilliant guest Nicky Denson-Elliot
When we share honestly, we begin to understand each other’s realities more clearly. We remove judgement. We replace comparison with compassion. And crucially, when women feel empowered to talk about money, we’re far better placed to make collective progress towards financial freedom. There is so much power in shared knowledge, shared confidence and shared support.
I absolutely loved this conversation. It felt important, timely and full of possibility — the kind of episode that stays with you long after the microphones are switched off.
Hope you enjoy it!

Studio Style
For this weeks studio look I opted for one of my favourite pieces, my Khaki pleated midi, as the statement item and built my look around that. This skirt has been worn countless times but it always feels so stylish and luxurious. To keep it as the statement, I teamed it with a simple black polo neck fine knit jumper and suede velvet boots from one of my favourite shoe retailers Daniel Footwear. To finish the look I added my classic gold coin pendant to add just a touch a metallic which also echos the little gold buttons on the jumper. It’s a classic, clean outfit that’s great for work or for dinner, drinks and Sunday lunches. Get the look below.
Away from recording, I was back on set filming this week — which meant swapping hats once again. Juggling different roles can feel full-on at times, but I do genuinely love having so many creative outlets. There’s something deeply satisfying about moving between worlds, using different parts of yourself, and allowing creativity to take different forms.
Alongside this, I’ve been continuing my journey with Correxiko, and it’s been such a bright spot during these darker winter weeks. I’ve been using their new LED mask, and I absolutely love it. It’s been a real antidote to the recent gloomy weather — a small but meaningful ritual that feels both restorative and grounding.
With just 10-minute sessions, it’s incredibly easy to fit in during the evening when I’m winding down, and I’m definitely starting to notice a difference in the texture and brightness of my skin. It’s become one of those gentle habits that feels like care rather than effort — which, at this time of year, feels especially welcome.
BOOK CLUB
We’ve also chosen our February book club read, and I’m really excited about this one.
The Distance Between Us by Maggie O’Farrell is a haunting story of the way our families shape our lives.
Written with Maggie O’Farrell’s trademark lyricism and emotional intelligence, the book reflects on moments of danger, survival and love — and how these experiences quietly, profoundly define who we become. As the author of the much acclaimed Hamnet, O Farrell has been widely praised for her honesty, beauty and courage, and this latest novel is a Sunday Times bestseller, with critics describing it as mesmerising, brave and deeply moving.
I honestly can’t wait to delve into this one and share our reflections together. It’s been so wonderful to hear your feedback on It Should’ve Been You over on our Instagram. Looking forward to hearing more.
This week felt like a reminder of how powerful conversation can be — whether we’re talking about money, creativity, or the stories that shape us. When we share openly, we make space not just for ourselves, but for each other too. I hope you enjoy all of what we have online at the moment and it keeps you company as we move towards the Spring.
Have a great week and speak soon,
Natalie Xx
